WHERE HAS ALL OF NATURE AND THE ANIMALS GONE?
Where have all the flowers gone?
That used to bloom in spring and summer that
graced us with their many shapes and colors.
In a world that is less beautiful without them.
Where have all the animals gone?
The birds that ruled the skies and trees, who
gathered together to sing songs to greet the morning.
Where have all the great whales and dolphins
gone that swam the vast oceans in pods?
Have they disappeared forever?
Where have all the frogs and toads gone, that used
to grace our backyards, swamps and forests?
Have they vanished forever?
Where have all the forests and preserves gone
That once preserved nature in a quiet peaceful
environment?
Where have all the trees that stood majestic
toward the sky gone? Have they all been cut down
in man’s greed for wood?
That we no longer can observe their beauty.
Where have the beautiful creatures in the oceans gone?
Have we taken everything away for ourselves and left
nothing to nature and its original origin.
Where have the beautiful snowflakes gone that used
to fall lightly from the sky in their many shapes and
sizes? Have we wished so hard the snow away, that the
sky no longer provided us or graced us with her beauty in
wintertime?
Where did the vacant land go, so vibrant with
life and trees? Where all of the animals and nature
could be observed in their natural habitat.
Have we taken everything for ourselves and have not
put nothing back at all? Have we walked upon the
sacred land fiercely instead of walking lightly upon
the Earth with respect for her natural beauty?
A world where there are no trees, no birds, no forests
left, no nature or animals, would be indeed a very
lonely and sad world to live in.
Where have all the bees gone that used to pollinate
on our flowers? With their shiny yellow coats and
black stripes, they were such a sight to behold.
Have they all died out?
Where have all the beautifully patterned butterflies
gone to? They used to grace our yards and bask
gracefully in the sun upon our flowers and migrated every year
to Mexico. Have we destroyed them all?
They can never be replaced by artificial means.
Where have all the flocks of birds that used to migrate
to the Antarctic every year gone?
The geese that flew high above past our homes in the
suburbs and cities, announcing their arrival and flying
in formation so gracefully.
Has global warming affected their flight patterns?
Where have all the last dinosaurs gone, the reptiles,
the crocodiles and alligators that used to swim in our
streams and lakes?
Where have all the magnificent tigers gone that were
such a beautiful sight to see with their black stripes
and orange fur? Has mankind killed every last one of
them?
Where have all the giraffes gone with their majestic
height?
The lions with their long manes and majestic roar.
The elephants with their loud and magnificent horns
that sound like trumpets.
The gentle giant mountain gorillas, that once lived
peacefully amongst themselves in perfect harmony.
The gods are crying tears of rain and shaking the Earth
so violently with hurricanes and floods of anger.
A cloud of many colors was set in the sky that would
forever remind us of the beauty lost forever.
And clouds shaped in the images of birds and other
animals would grace our skies to forever remind us of
them.
Look at what we’ve done to the world, the Earth.
We’ve taken everything away. And it is too late to put it
back.
There is no longer any balance in our ecosystem and all
of our natural resources are gone and replaced by
unnatural means.
We must wake up. We must wake up and open our eyes
before it is too late. Before it is too late, and we become a lost
and dying race with no future.
We must wake up, before our fragile Earth is gone
forever......
